We're partnering with an excellent school district in Okanogan County, WA, to find an Physical Therapist for the 2025–2026 school year.

A school physical therapist (PT) is a licensed healthcare professional who helps students with physical disabilities, motor challenges, or mobility issues access and participate in the educational environment. They focus on improving students' gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility to ensure they can safely and effectively navigate their school environment and participate in academic and extracurricular activities.

Position Details:

• Position: Physical Therapist
• Location: Okanogan County, WA
• Expected Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess motor skills, mobility, and physical access needs.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP/504 goals.
• Provide direct therapy to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
• Teach safe use of assistive devices and mobility techniques.
• Recommend environmental adaptations and mobility equipment.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation.
• Train staff on safe handling, positioning, and mobility support.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist License: Issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
• Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate.
