Pride Health is seeking Physical Therapy Assistant – Home Health to join a team in Denver, CO 80221 . This is a 3-months contract with a possible extension. Locals and Travelers accepted!
Job Description:
· Administers the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
· Administers non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities to patients.
· Accurately documents daily, weekly or monthly records of clients' status. Submits clinical paperwork to the office on time each week.
· Attends educational meetings and coordinates and contributes to department in-services.
· Notifies physical therapist, Clinical Manager or Branch/Clinical Director of any equipment failures, lack of supplies, staff or client changes and any other departmental changes.
· Schedules clients and performs varied office tasks.
· Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities.
· Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
· Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and/or other third party payors, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary.
· Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Contract Length: 3 months
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00/hour
Travel Gross weekly: $1,892 (Candidate must live 50 miles away)
W2 hourly (Taxable): $17
Stipend weekly (Non Taxable)- $1212.00
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
