SUB-INVESTIGATOR

(Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - must have active license)

On-site in Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a motivated Sub-Investigator (preferably a PA) to support Phase I–II clinical trials in an outpatient oncology research environment. Ideal for a clinically strong provider with early research exposure who wants to grow into a leadership role working alongside experienced Principal Investigators and a consulting Medical Director (MD).

Key Responsibilities

• Support principal investigators in managing Phase I–II clinical trials
• Conduct study-related assessments and document per protocol and GCP
• Collaborate with PIs and consulting MD to drive clinical trial activities
• Identify eligible patients and support screening, consent, and study visits
• Ensure patient safety, reporting, and AE/SAE documentation
• Maintain high levels of data integrity and protocol compliance
• Engage with clinical research staff to optimize trial execution
• Promote a culture of quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in research

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant (PA preferred) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Some experience working in clinical research (Phase I–II strongly preferred)
• Experience with outpatient patient care; oncology exposure is beneficial
• Knowledge of GCP, safety reporting, and research documentation
• Passion for advancing clinical research; strong attention to quality
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with investigators
