Process Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Technician to join our dynamic team at Onkos, where cutting-edge wet chemistry creates a first-of-its-kind antimicrobial coating for medical devices. This hands-on role offers the unique opportunity to scale up our facility from the ground up and make your mark through process inputs and improvements. You'll execute treatment processes and perform quality control testing for this groundbreaking technology.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing:

• Execute wet chemistry treatment processes on medical devices per established SOPs
• Work in an ISO7 cleanroom environment using aseptic techniques
• Operate in fume hoods with hazardous chemicals following safety protocols
• Document manufacturing data in real-time batch records

Quality Control:

• Perform in-process and final release testing
• Ensure products meet acceptance criteria before release

Additional Duties:

• Handle inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with Process Engineers and Scientists

Qualifications

Required:

• Vocational/technology school degree, associate degree, or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office and laboratory mathematics
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently

Preferred:

• Bachelors in Science
• Laboratory experience (minimum 2 years)
• Quality Control training
• GMP/controlled manufacturing exposure
• ISO standards and 21CFR understanding
• Validation experience
• FTIR and chromatography knowledge

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working with hazardous and flammable chemicals (PPE provided)
• Ability to stand for 3+ hours at a time
• Work performed in fume hoods and a cleanroom environment
• Occasional exposure to chemical fumes and moderate noise levels
• Minimal travel required
