Job Title: Real Estate Research Manager

Location: On Site - Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize market research and analyze real estate trends to inform investment decisions.
  • Perform financial modeling and underwriting input for new investment opportunities.
  • Conduct market and submarket analysis, including rent comps, cap rates, and demographic trends.
  • Prepare research components of investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of existing portfolio assets, providing actionable insights.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including lease audits, site visits, and third-party report reviews.
  • Collaborate with acquisitions, finance, and asset management teams on deal strategy and execution.
  • Communicate research insights effectively to internal teams and potential investors.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate market research.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and real estate valuation software (e.g., Argus, CoStar).
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal oversight.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in highly diverse commercial real estate investment environments.
  • Advanced data manipulation skills and experience utilizing AI software for research.
  • Demonstrated confidence and ability to interact with senior management.
  • Experience preparing detailed reports and presentations for investors and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with long-term structural forces impacting real estate markets.
