Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Charleston, SC onsite

Prominent, business and litigation law firm with offices in the Carolinas is seeking a receptionist for their Charleston office.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple calls, visitors and requests under time constraints.
Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor necessary to communicate in person and on the telephone; effectively follow instructions from a diverse group of attorneys, clients and staff; and provide information with courtesy and tact.
Must be able to handle deadlines and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Receives incoming telephone calls; directs calls to appropriate party.
Operates a multi-line console in order to receive and relay incoming, outgoing and intra-system calls.
Takes and relays accurate messages.
Operates a computer for assistance in relaying messages.
Meets and greets clients and visitors to the office and ensures proper clearance and routing of such parties in accordance with firm policies; notifies supervisor and/or property manager of difficult situations.
Assists with firm events, including food and beverage orders.
Additional responsibilities include assistance with firm records, as needed.
Regular and in-person attendance is required to perform essential functions of this interactive position.
