Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem, Laser Tattoo Removal

Compensation: $50/hour + paid training

We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization that has spent decades transforming lives in Southern California. This organization provides critical community services to at-risk populations, including youth and adults affected by gang involvement, human trafficking, and other barriers to employment and personal safety.

Their laser tattoo removal program offers individuals a second chance by removing tattoos that may impede employment or social reintegration. The program has developed an innovative, state-of-the-art mobile unit that allows staff to deliver services in the community efficiently. As a Registered Nurse, you will work alongside other RNs in this mobile setting, providing clinical care while supporting a mission that empowers and improves lives. no travel between patients in your personal vehicle is required .

Position Summary

NWe are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to perform laser tattoo removal procedures under physician supervision. This per diem role allows you to contribute clinically, support a meaningful cause, and maintain a flexible schedule. Paid training is provided, and no prior laser removal experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laser tattoo removal procedures safely and effectively under physician supervision.
• Conduct pre-treatment screenings, including review of medical history and assessment of skin and overall health.
• Monitor clients during procedures for safety and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment logs, consent forms, and before/after photos or videos.
• Educate clients on aftercare instructions and follow-up procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other RNs in both on-site and mobile program operations.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and program-specific policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Willingness to complete paid laser tattoo removal training prior to performing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment for safe procedures and accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Flexibility to work per diem hours and variable schedules, including assignments in the mobile clinic.
• Commitment to serving underserved populations with dignity and professionalism.
