Title - SAS Data Analyst (on W2)

Location - Charlotte, NC/ Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Duration - Long-term Contract (extension/conversion)

Job Description:

General Information

• Gather, analyse, document, and maintain all data requirements related to business applications, interfaces, and reporting environments. Apply standards and best practices to ensure data is accurate, complete, current, understandable, and accessible. Collaborate closely with internal clients, Audit Delivery Teams, business analysts, and development project teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather, review, analyse, profile, validate, and map system data into the data warehouse for reporting and analytics.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Develop solutions and recommendations for data integrity issues.
• Analyse business requirements and assist senior management with reporting.
• Collaborate with ETL developers and analysts to ensure consistent data integration.
• Provide documentation of data-related project deliverables and work with system analysts to resolve data issues.

Must Have Skills -

• Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, CS, or business-related field; or 6 years of relevant experience in data analysis, transformation, reconciliation, and presentation.
• Proficient in SQL: ability to understand, modify, and develop queries.
• Proficient in SAS: ability to analyze, modify, and create SAS programs.
• Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts and working in VLDB environments.
• Familiarity with query analysis tools.

Nice to have skills-

• Audit experience.
• Experience in banking or financial services.
