School Nurse Substitute RN - Wildwood School
Salary: $37.00/hour

Who We Are
Wildwood School provides a comprehensive educational program for students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities to prepare them to be as independent as possible. Academic, social, employment, and functional skills are taught to each student as driven by their Individual Educational Plan (IEP), needs, and interests.
Who We Are Looking For
A RN to be substitute nurse for Wildwood School that brings compassion and well as provides health care services to students.
Education/Experience/License
Associate's degree in Applied Science in Nursing (A. A.) or equivalent from a regionally accredited two-year college
Certificates And Licenses
Current Certification in CPR
NYS License as a Registered Professional Nurse
Computer Skills
Word processing, E-mail
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plans school health program, in cooperation with senior nurse and school administrative personnel.
Facilitates learning through the promotion of wellness.
Participates in health assessments and reviews findings to evaluate health status of students and progress of program.
Notifies families when students need physical examinations and assists in locating health resources
May instruct classes in subjects such as childcare and first aid and implements nursing policies to meet emergencies.
Job Qualifications
Additional Requirements:
A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
