Role: Senior Data Scientist – Generative AI & Solution Architecture

Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Mode – Hybrid (2-3 days from client office)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design and implementation of a Generative AI-driven Contract Risk Reporting System. This role involves building advanced RAG pipelines, a reporting engine, and an interactive chatbot. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, AI/ML fundamentals, and the ability to interpret legal contract language into actionable solution requirements, while engaging directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver AI solutions for contract risk analysis and reporting.
• Design and implement LLM-based RAG systems, reporting dashboards, and conversational interfaces.
• Translate legal domain requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with clients for requirement gathering, solution validation, and presentations.
• Ensure MLOps best practices, model monitoring, and Model Risk Management (MRM) compliance.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and NLP techniques.
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps pipelines, model governance, and risk controls.
• Proficiency in Python, LangChain, Vector Databases, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to interpret legal contract language and map it to technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, client engagement, and solution design skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in legal tech, contract analytics, or risk management solutions.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, domain-specific fine-tuning, and LLM optimization.
