Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Sales Professional to lead business development and client acquisition for our HVAC and Plumbing division focused on multi-family residential construction. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth across regional and national developers, general contractors, and construction management firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s footprint in the multi-family housing sector.
  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with general contractors, developers, and property owners.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and bid processes in coordination with estimating and project teams.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, site visits, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (operations, estimating, project management) to ensure smooth project transitions and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and improve positioning.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical trades (multi-family housing experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical or construction-related field.
  • Deep network of industry contacts in the multi-family housing construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, scopes, and terminology.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal generation tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to visit active construction sites, attend in-person meetings, and occasionally travel as needed.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during meetings and site visits.

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission/bonus. Total compensation is commensurate with experience and performance.
