We’re building AI-native systems that source, evaluate, and engage talent automatically, giving recruiters “super-powers” and giving candidates a fairer shot. The software you build will sit at the heart of this transformation: orchestrating large-scale LLM pipelines, real-time ranking engines, and delightful recruiter workflows that make filling a role 10× faster.

What you’ll do (if you lean backend )

• Architect cloud-native services that connect LLM evaluation engines, ATS integrations, and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Design distributed systems that score millions of résumés in minutes with high availability, low latency, and strict privacy controls.
• Build streaming and batch pipelines for candidate data, interview events, and outreach metrics.
• Own infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD so experiments ship to production safely and often.

What you’ll do (if you lean frontend )

• Craft a next-generation recruiter workspace—think “Figma meets ATS”—using modern TypeScript and open-source frameworks.
• Visualize deep candidate insights (skill graphs, interview scores, diversity metrics) in snappy, interactive UIs.
• Collaborate closely with backend and ML teams to surface AI recommendations in real time.
• Push the limits of browser performance to keep power users in flow.

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional software development, with deep expertise in either backend or frontend.
• A record of shipping production systems at scale—focused on performance, resilience, and usability.
• Strong coding skills in languages that fit your stack (Go or Python on the backend; TypeScript/React on the frontend).
• A collaborative mindset and the curiosity to work across product, ML, and design.
• A passion for building tools that make other people wildly more effective.

Bonus points

• Experience with recruiting/HCM, ATS integrations, or HR analytics.
• Hands-on knowledge of LLM fine-tuning or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Background in high-volume data processing, event-driven architectures, or graph databases.
• Prior success scaling engineering teams in a startup environment.
• Clear, concise technical writing and diagramming chops.

Logistics

• Location: Hybrid hubs in Bay Area, CA (US), three days in-office, two days remote. Fully-remote option within US for exceptional candidates.
