Job Title: Sourcing Analyst

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH (Onsite)

Type: Contract (3 months)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Pay Rate: $16–$19 per hour (W2)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

Russell Tobin’s leading Consumer Goods / Retail client seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sourcing Analyst to support sourcing and operational functions within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This role will play a key part in managing vendor quotes, supporting product launches, resolving invoice issues, and assisting with sourcing-related analysis and reporting.

This is an onsite role, ideal for someone with strong follow-up, coordination, and Excel/reporting skills, looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement or supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Quote Analysis:
• Collect, review, and analyze vendor quotes for new business opportunities and upcoming product launches.
• RFQ (Request for Quote) Management:
• Coordinate and follow up on vendor responses to RFQs. Ensure timely and accurate data collection to support sourcing decisions.
• Invoice and PO Resolution:
• Identify and resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Cost Development Support:
• Assist in developing target cost models for product components and sub-categories within the sourcing portfolio.
• Reporting & Database Maintenance:
• Maintain and generate reports from RFQ tracking databases. Ensure data accuracy and support sourcing leadership with reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience or relevant internship in sourcing, supply chain, operations, or procurement preferred
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through on tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
• Comfortable working in an onsite, team-oriented environment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (not required)
