Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher to fill a Long-term substitute position. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with special educational needs, working closely with the school community to ensure their academic and social-emotional growth.

Pay Rate : $42.00 - $49.00 per hour

Location: Bellflower, CA. 90706

Schedule: Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Master's Preferred)
• Required: California Clear or Preliminary Resource Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild to Moderate
• Familiarity with the SEIS system
• Proficiency in case management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Confident computer technology skills
• Preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Manage caseloads and provide individualized case management for students with mild to moderate special needs.
• Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to support students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and families to coordinate student support.
• Utilize the Special Education Information System (SEIS) to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Serve as a long-term substitute RSP teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction and support for students.
