Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher ready to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment? We’re seeking a full-time SDC/SET teacher for an elementary or middle school site in Antioch, CA for the 2025–2026 school year.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Teach a Special Day Class (mild/moderate or moderate/severe) for students with IEPs in a small-group setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with California Education Code and IDEA.
• Adapt curriculum and use evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to each student’s learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families.
• Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and behavior support as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on goals, accommodations, and transition planning.
• Maintain accurate records, track student growth, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
What We’re Looking For
• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) or eligibility through an Intern Credential Program.
• Experience working in SDC or self-contained classroom preferred.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
