Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Clinical Fellows (CFY)

VerbaCare Inc is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including
Clinical Fellows (CFYs), to provide comprehensive school-based speech therapy
services across Sacramento Elk Grove locations. Join our team to make a meaningful
impact on students' communication skills in public and charter school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Speech-Language Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct screenings,
assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for K–12 students with speech and
language disorders.
Individualized Education Program (IEP) Development: Develop, write, and
implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services, including articulation therapy,
language intervention, fluency therapy, voice therapy, and social communication
support.
Collaboration: Work closely with special educators, general education teachers,
school psychologists, and families to support student progress.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes,
and evaluation reports using SEIS, SIRAS, or district-specific software.
Professional Development: Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and
ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Licensure: Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility for
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Experience: Previous experience in school-based settings preferred but not
required.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
