Position Details

The Esports Facility Attendant will assist students and other guests in the esports facility by signing them in and out of the space, helping them to get set up on gaming stations and trouble shooting equipment issues if needed, monitoring behavior of students and guests in the space and ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining room cleanliness, and properly opening and closing the facility for public use.

 

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Opening the space for use (turning on lights, ensuring computers are working, tidying up
  • Signing students in and out of the space to help track usage
  • Minor technical assistance when guests require help (i.e. game updates, unplugging and replacing peripherals, etc.)
  • Providing those using the space with a welcoming and professional atmosphere
  • Ensuring that everyone using the space is following all policies and procedures
  • Closing the space for use (announcing the facility closure reminder, ensuring that all students leave the facility at 12AM, turning off the lights, and locking doors)
