Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Onsite in Vernon, CA

LHH is seeking an Supply Chain Analyst for our client where you would be working directly with their Procurement teams. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying purchasing efficiencies and enabling data-driven decision-making. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders and develop analytics solutions that enhance inventory management, logistics, and purchasing performance.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with a passion for leveraging technology to create tangible business impact.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Vernon, CA, with an expectation of being in the corporate office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to our CA and TX procurement teams to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to track procurement team effectiveness
  • Lead the extraction, consolidation, and validation of critical data inputs and business processes
  • Analyze internal system data to identify trends and opportunities in procurement and demand planning
  • Build predictive models and simulations to forecast demand and procurement needs
  • Foster collaboration across purchasing, cross-functional teams, and suppliers
  • Assist in establishing and tracking KPIs for performance targets
  • Translate data into actionable insights through strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy)
  • 1+ year of experience in supply chain analysis (data mining), preferably in food manufacturing or CPG
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems in a dynamic environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong critical thinking and time management abilities
