Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Entry-Level Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for optimizing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide support to the Supply Chain department in areas such as data analysis, inventory management, order processing, and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking, forecasting, and order replenishment to ensure stock levels meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Process Optimization: Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, order fulfillment, lead time) and present findings to management.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to track shipments, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Order Management: Monitor and track customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment, and resolve any order discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth and effective supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Familiarity with supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts.
Ability to work with large sets of data and attention to detail.
Experience: No prior work experience required, but internships, academic projects, or coursework in supply chain management or related fields will be an advantage.
