The Pet’s Vet North End in Boston is hiring for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician with focused practice in anesthesia, general surgery, and dentistry with 2-3 years of experience. This position requires a positive attitude, teamwork mentality and an eagerness to grow within the practice.
The Pet’s Vet North End is a vibrant and growing practice in the heart of downtown Boston. Our location spans two pet filled neighborhoods - the established and historic North End and the boisterous and rapidly growing West End. The practice opened in October 2020 and is state of the art, with a very efficient and aesthetically pleasing design. The facility has a welcoming reception area which includes a beverage station boasting of cold brew coffee, sparkling water and array of options that can be made fresh on the industrial Keurig. The four exam rooms welcome clients and patients to relax and settle in - including comfortable benches, calming classical music and species specific pheromone diffusers. We have a “learning lab” that includes a microscope with the ability to project to both a large tv monitor and ipads so that images can both be stored and shared with clients. Our treatment area includes a full in house suite of Idexx lab stations, comfortable cage bank and three treatment bays. Our radiology suite includes digital x-rays and ultrasound with the option of telemedicine. Our dental alcove includes a canis major dental table, digital dental x-rays, Midmark dental delivery system and of course top of the line anesthesia machine and multiparameter monitoring. Our surgery suite is equipped with Midmark dual surgery lights, cautery, suction, top of the line anesthesia machine and multiparameter monitoring among many other things. The Pet’s Vet has an inviting team room and staff restroom equipped with Figs scrubs. Although our facility is both beautiful and state of the art - it is truly our staff and customer service that define our practice.
