**Volunteer Description:** Logan Regional Hospital is seeking volunteer musicians - especially pianists or acoustic instrumentalists - to bring calm, joy, and comfort to our patients, visitors, and staff. We are especially in need of volunteers available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Are you a pianist or instrumentalist with a heart for service? Logan Regional Hospital is seeking compassionate, talented volunteer musicians to share the gift of music with our patients, families, and staff. Whether it's soft piano melodies or gentle string music in the lobby, your music can bring comfort, peace, and healing to those who need it most. **What You'll Do:** - Perform calming, appropriate music in the lobby of the hospital. - Create a soothing and uplifting atmosphere through live instrumental music. - Interact respectfully and professionally with patients, families, and staff. - Follow hospital safety and infection control guidelines. **Ideal Candidate:** - Proficient in playing the piano or another acoustic instrument. - Friendly, compassionate, and respectful in a healthcare setting. - Able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule. - Comfortable performing solo and adapting music to suit a hospital environment. **Additional Requirements:** - Must be 16 years or older. - Completion of hospital volunteer orientation and health screening. - Background check required. **Why Volunteer With Us?** - Make a meaningful difference in people's lives through the power of music. - Gain experience in a healthcare environment. - Join a supportive, mission-driven community.
