What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a market-leading manufacturer to hire a Vice President of Human Resources for their fastest-growing business segment. Based in Houston, TX, this leader will report to the business leader and serve as a trusted advisor across M&A, talent strategy, cultural integration, and leadership development. This is a highly visible role designed to help scale a people-first organization amid acquisition-fueled growth.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team and advise on people strategies that support business objectives.
• Develop and lead a high-performing HR team aligned to culture, talent development, and operational excellence.
• Support end-to-end M&A processes—from due diligence through post-acquisition integration.
• Lead talent management initiatives including workforce planning, training, and succession strategies.
• Ensure compliance and guide labor/employee relations while promoting a high-engagement, union-free environment.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a strong generalist foundation in manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience building, developing, and motivating HR teams to support business growth.
• Track record of successful M&A support, including integration planning and execution.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced HRIS/analytics fluency and modern HR tech proficiency preferred.
