Position Overview
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing, and shipping skids and crates, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in properties
Loading and unloading trucks with forklift
Prepares orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
Sort and place materials into inventory according to organizational standards
Open skids, crates and other containers
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items . May also assist in counting of physical inventory
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Wear the proper safety equipment and follow safety guidelines
May also have to help with booths installation at trade shows.
Qualifications
The ability to operate multiple types of forklifts and warehouse equipment
1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
Dependable and Reliable
Inventory and equipment maintenance skills may be required
Preferred Skills
Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
Experience in the trade show industry
Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
