Warehouse Associate I

Location: Dothan, AL 36303

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations for a short-term 6-week assignment. This role involves receiving products, picking customer orders, stocking shelves, handling returns, and preparing items for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced, physical environment and may be required to work in refrigerated or hot/cold areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming products and verify shipments for accuracy
• Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanner devices (if required)
• Stock shelves and maintain proper organization of materials
• Process returns and place items back into correct warehouse locations
• Enter basic order and inventory data into the computer system
• Assist with daily inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety guidelines
• Follow detailed instructions and comply with warehouse procedures
• Perform additional warehouse tasks as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand product labels and instructions in English
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Comfortable using basic computer systems
• Willingness to work overtime as required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Must be comfortable working in refrigerated or temperature-varying areas
• Ability to operate tools such as a box cutter
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
