Position Summary

The Warehouse Load Coordinator coordinates outbound shipments to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient loading of goods in a third-party logistics environment.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates outbound loads based on shipping schedules and customer requests.

• Communicates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.

• Prepares and reviews loading documents, including Bill of Lading (BOL), load sheets, and shipping labels.

• Configures load to maximize trailer space and ensure secure transportation of goods.

• Monitors and tracks load progress and resolves discrepancies in real time.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and minimize cross-dock times.

• Maintains accurate shipping records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Audits loads to make sure they meet Department of Transportation (DOT) and

organizational safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of warehouse or logistics coordination.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems, transportation, loading, and shipping procedures.

• Forklift certification (if applicable).
