Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established professional services organization in Phoenix to fill a contract Administrative Assistant position. This role will support the team during a maternity leave and offers a collaborative and professional environment within a growing firm.

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant will provide general office and administrative support to tax professionals and internal departments. Responsibilities include organizing documents, assisting with e-filing, managing front desk coverage, and handling day-to-day office tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of tax return documents
  • Scan, file, and manage both physical and digital records
  • Support the administrative and tax teams with clerical tasks
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with front desk duties as needed
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and handle general office upkeep
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Prior experience in a professional services or accounting environment is a plus
  • Bilingual and/or tax support experience is a bonus

  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Start Date: Mid-to-late July
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
