A well-respected logistics company in Oceanside is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to take charge of coordinating routes and ensuring customer delivery schedules are met. This fast-paced, highly rewarding position is perfect for someone who thrives in transportation and logistics. Key Responsibilities: The Dispatcher will oversee essential routing and communication activities, including: + Scheduling daily dispatches for drivers while ensuring routes maximize efficiency. + Communicating with drivers throughout their routes to provide updates and address challenges. + Customer and client outreach for delivery confirmations, scheduling, and status updates. + Monitoring tracking software to ensure vehicles are on schedule and rerouting when needed. + Maintaining precise documentation of delivery schedules, driver logs, and related records. + Identifying and resolving logistical issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction. + Collaborating with warehouse staff and management to ensure product readiness and availability. Requirements + 1-2 years of experience in dispatching or a similar logistics role. + Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), GPS tracking tools, or dispatching software. + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adjust to schedule changes quickly. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with drivers, customers, and staff. + Detail-oriented and resourceful, with organization skills to manage schedules and documentation effectively. + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics certifications are a plus.
