Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• The Software Test Engineer will support UCC’s ever increasing electromechanical medical device portfolio that includes software/embedded systems.
• Focus on testing during design, V&V, and post release investigations for UCC products with software.
• Analyse requirements, develop & run manual test cases for software V&V.
• Design and develop automated tests using Python/LabVIEW or other relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Work closely with software developers and other cross-functional teams in understanding the applications and systems to test effectively.
• Identify defects to improve software quality and assist software developers in resolving them.
• Perform all V&V related documentation.
• Participates in bug/defect risk mitigation

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Embedded Systems & Software Testing
• Test Automation (Python / LabVIEW / C#)
• Manual Testing & Defect Resolution
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or related technical field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of software testing.
• Experience in developing automated test cases.
• Proficiency in languages like Python/LabVIEW/C#.
• Experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps
