Job Description

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a proactive Environmental Compliance Manager to lead and support regulatory compliance across our facility operations. This role ensures strict adherence to environmental laws, corporate policies, and sustainability standards, driving performance and safety outcomes across plant operations.

What You'll Do...

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and corporate policies.

• Lead environmental inspections, audits, and reporting activities; maintain accurate compliance records and permit documentation.

• Serve as primary liaison for environmental agencies; manage communication and reporting for regulatory matters.

• Implement and monitor programs for air emissions, solid waste, and water discharge compliance.

• Lead environmental incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

• Deliver new hire and ongoing environmental training; evaluate and enhance training effectiveness.

• Support and participate in emergency response planning, drills, and coordination with local responders.

• Maintain and update corporate compliance systems, including CEM, EHS databases, and audit tracking tools.

• Collaborate with plant leadership to identify and resolve compliance risks, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

• Assist in plant operations meetings to advise on compliance issues, trends, and process improvements.

• Contribute to PMO projects, school programs, and community engagement as needed.

• Submit weekly environmental reports and incident entries within defined timelines.

Who You Are...

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or regulated environment.

• Strong understanding of environmental laws (RCRA, CAA, CWA, etc.) and regulatory reporting.

• Experience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and environmental data systems preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and experience working with regulatory agencies.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and incident investigation skills.
