Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ESG Benchmarking Intern to support our benchmarking team. This role requires high-volume data entry, accuracy, and strong follow-through, particularly during peak seasons. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in new software, handling email communication, and data entry, and ensuring smooth workflow completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the energy, water, and waste benchmarking for entire portfolio of customers
• Organize and accurately file documents in company cloud
• Prepare utility authorizations and submit utility data requests
• Work with utility companies to receive energy data in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager
• Set up new buildings in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and enter building data
• Submit benchmarking reports to local and state agencies
• Enter customer and building details info in company CRM (Zoho)

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workflow exceptions.
• Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a curious and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for assigned tasks.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point - MUST be an expert in Excel.
• Experience with Zoho CRM preferred but not required.

Rate: $18-23 p/hour depending on experience
