This Position reports to:

Integrated Product Unit Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a test cell to execute product testing in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes schedules procedures drawings and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet testing targets effectively and efficiently.

This is an on-site position based in Richmond VA.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
• Recommending testing equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
• Identifying deficiencies in test area proposing improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve overall testing performance.
• Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
• Leading teams disciplinary actions performance reviews career plans training and safety protocols.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree preferable in Electrical field plus 6 years of relevant experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing roles.
• Computer skills (Outlook Time tracking systems) SAP knowledge.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of people leading.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
