Since inception, PPVP has invested in 35 companies with check sizes ranging from $250K to $5M, averaging $1M per investment. Our mobile app and investment platform ‘PariPassu’ serves as the best-in-class UI for our community to access to some of the most highly competitive dealflow in venture with checks as low as $10k, and activates a powerful community of value-add angels to be a bench of support behind leading startups. 

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a highly capable member of the Investment Team to join our firm. This individual will play a pivotal role in sourcing, conducting diligence on, and executing investments, while also contributing to the operational expansion and strategic direction of PPVP. Based on the experience and seniority of our ideal hire, this position title could range from Analyst to Associate to Senior Associate. 

Position Overview: Investment Analyst/Associate/Senior Associate

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth venture investment platform at a critical inflection point. The Investment Associate will work directly with the Managing Partner and broader investment team to identify exceptional startups, conduct rigorous due diligence, and support deal execution. Additionally, this role will involve significant strategic and operational responsibilities, including investor relations, community development, and brand-building efforts.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, proactive, and relationship-driven professional with real knowledge of the venture ecosystem. You must be a master networker and highly passionate about forging deep relationships with founders, fellow VCs, and our investors alike. Self-starters will thrive here. This role is designed for a highly ambitious individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in venture capital while helping shape the trajectory of an innovative investment firm. 

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Deal Execution:

• Sourcing & Market Research: Identify and evaluate compelling investment opportunities by actively engaging with the startup and VC ecosystem.
• Due Diligence & Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis to support investment decisions.
• Deal Structuring & Execution: Work closely with the Managing Partner to negotiate and execute SPV-based investments, collaborating with legal, compliance, and operational teams.
• Portfolio Support & Value Creation: Leverage PPVP’s network to provide strategic assistance to portfolio companies, ensuring their long-term success.

Strategic Growth & Community Development:

• Investor Relations & LP Engagement: Strengthen relationships with our network of accredited investors by driving engagement, communications, and syndication strategies.
• Thought Leadership & Content Strategy: Contribute to PPVP’s public presence by authoring market insights, investment memos, and deal announcements.
• Brand & Ecosystem Expansion: Play a key role in developing PPVP’s brand by fostering relationships with top-tier founders, operators, and investors.
• Platform & Product Input: Provide critical feedback on the Pari Passu app to enhance its functionality and investor experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Deep Venture & Startup Knowledge: Strong understanding of early-stage investing, startup operations, and venture capital market dynamics.
• Exceptional Analytical & Diligence Capabilities: Ability to synthesize complex data, assess business models, and conduct financial analysis with precision.
• High-Level Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong writing and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to craft investment theses and engage industry leaders.
• Entrepreneurial & Self-Starter Mentality: Comfortable operating autonomously in a high-velocity, results-driven environment with minimal oversight.
• Relationship-Oriented: Adept at cultivating meaningful relationships with founders, investors, and industry stakeholders to strengthen deal flow and investor engagement. You may often be the first point of contact for HNW individuals in our community to discuss a deal or Pari Passu more broadly, so sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or consulting.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and market research.
• Strong understanding of emerging technology sectors, venture trends, and investment strategy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment while collaborating closely with a small, high-impact team.
