Job Description

A leading manufacturer in the St. Charles, IL area is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee operations across multiple facilities. This role offers the opportunity to build a proactive maintenance culture, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a high-performing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead maintenance operations for multiple sites, with approximately 25% travel in the first year (reduced in year two).
• Implement and oversee robust preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Develop and mentor a skilled maintenance team, fostering cross-training and succession planning.
• Drive continuous improvement projects, utilizing Lean tools and best practices to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost control.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to support production goals and long-term asset strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and execution.
• Experience with team building, coaching, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to travel between sites (approx. 25% first year; reduced thereafter).
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and equipment reliability programs is a plus.
