• We are a dynamic cannabis/hemp company based in Richmond, Virginia, with a global team dedicated to innovation and growth in the industry. Our small, collaborative team is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator and Designer to drive our marketing and creative initiatives.

Job Summary

• The Marketing Coordinator and Designer will work closely with the CMO and COO to execute a wide range of marketing and design tasks. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand’s visual identity, managing digital campaigns, and driving growth through strategic marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design: Create compelling visuals for digital and print using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to support branding and marketing campaigns.
• Email Campaign Management: Develop, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive conversions.
• Social Media Strategy: Plan and execute social media content and strategies across platforms to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
• Agency Coordination: Collaborate with our external design agency and Meta ads agency to ensure cohesive campaigns and timely delivery of assets.
• Marketing and Growth Initiatives: Support the execution of marketing strategies, including content creation, promotions, and other growth-driven projects.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) and social media management tools.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media and Meta ads.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with the cannabis/hemp industry and its regulatory landscape is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, small-team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in a United States time zone for seamless collaboration with our Richmond, Virginia-based leadership.
• Experience working with external agencies or vendors.
• Passion for the cannabis/hemp industry and its evolving market.
