🔍 What You’ll Do

• Deploy, configure, and manage MySQL and Aurora DB instances in AWS environments .
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and automated failover strategies for production-grade databases.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform .
• Implement database monitoring, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot performance and availability issues across distributed environments.
• Automate deployment and configuration workflows using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices .
• Support application teams with database provisioning, schema design, and query optimization.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MySQL database administration (deployment, tuning, backup/restore, troubleshooting).
• Strong knowledge of AWS services , especially RDS , Aurora , and CloudWatch .
• Proficiency with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Experience with DevOps toolchains (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Solid understanding of high availability, replication, and performance monitoring in cloud-native environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred) and a passion for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Prior experience in regulated or high-availability production environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, or fintech) is a plus.
