Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding and application of the scientific method
• Hands-on experience with laser systems
• Mechanical troubleshooting and solid engineering fundamentals
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong critical thinking , problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Teams
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Commitment to lab safety , including risk assessments and safety upgrades
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute experiments, collect data, and document results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on laser process development and improvement
• Support laser system assembly, installation, debugging, and maintenance
• Work with internal customers to fulfill laser processing requests on time
• Maintain lab cleanliness, safety standards, inventory, and documentation
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Experience & Education

• Minimum 5 years of lab experience executing experiments
• Associate’s degree preferred , not required
