Job Description

A leading global investment and technology-driven firm is looking for a data-savvy professional to join its Human Capital Analytics team in a research-focused role. This group serves as the go-to partner for talent-related insights across the firm, helping leadership make informed decisions with data. The team blends statistical expertise with a nuanced understanding of the employee experience, operating in a highly collaborative and intellectually curious environment.

About the Team & Role

  • The broader Human Capital function is made up of over 100 professionals across recruiting, HR business partnering, L&D, benefits, and more.
  • This opening is to backfill a team member who recently transitioned to a new role focusing on AI initiatives.
  • This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, technical depth, and the communication skills to distill complex findings into clear narratives.
  • Reporting directly to a senior member of the groupthis person will regularly interact with stakeholders across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute internal research projects focused on workforce trends, using statistical methods and behavioral science techniques.
  • Analyze complex people-related data and translate findings into actionable insights and compelling visual stories for senior audiences.
  • Contribute to a wide range of analytics work across talent acquisition, assessment, development, retention, and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with data in a corporate environment, ideally within a technology-driven or fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python (required); familiarity with R, SQL, and strong Excel skills are also valued.
  • Solid grounding in statistical analysis, with a preference for social science or behavioral research experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a story using data.
  • A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Interest in generative AI and enthusiasm for leveraging new technologies to evolve processes and insights.
  • Direct experience in people analytics is a plus but not a requirement.
