JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Globals residential home development client is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing devices. Candidates should have significant experience in handling tools, and have knowledge of installation and maintenance processes, and plumbing codes.
Responsibilities:
● Plumbing Inspections: Inspect the plumbing systems for leaks, clogs, corrosion, and potential failures.
● Minor Repairs: Fix leaking faucets, replace defective valves, repair or replace toilets, and correct minor pipe leaks.
● Drain Cleaning: Use manual and motorized tools to clear blockages in drains, including sinks, tubs, and toilets.
● Pipe Repair: Address small leaks or cracks in pipes, including the use of pipe sleeves, fittings, and sealants.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Install, repair, and maintaining plumbing systems: Including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- 3+ years of trade experience as a plumber or plumber’s apprentice
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. -
Time management skills
- Ability to drive to residential sites for work
