As a Security & AV Technician , you’ll work across residential and light commercial projects to install, service, and activate custom systems that include security, AV, cameras, Wi-Fi networks, and automation.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for assisting with all aspects of onsite installation of systems
• Basic installations may be performed with little supervision
• Manage van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance
• Run low voltage wires in new construction
• Trim out equipment
• Communicate effectively
• Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
• Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
• Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): 

• 1–3+ years of experience in low-voltage, security, or AV system installation (residential or light commercial)
• Bonus points for commercial fire system knowledge or NICET certification
• Strong troubleshooting and low-voltage wiring skills
• Ability to read basic blueprints or site documentation
• Tech-savvy mindset with the desire to learn new platforms and systems
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Self-starter with strong organizational habits
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check
• Strive to exceed estimated time objectives for yourself

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility to meet customer demands by working overtime when required
• Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal background
