Senior Process Engineer

Hybrid | 25% Domestic & International Travel

What You’ll Do

Provide Technical Support

• Apply deep technical knowledge in finishing processes like grinding, turning, and milling. Analyze process data, create process maps, and recommend innovative manufacturing solutions for sites across the global footprint.

Contribute to Strategic Initiatives

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and deploy new manufacturing processes. Support knowledge transfer and best practices across multiple locations.

Lead Capital Projects

• Support the selection, specification, and implementation of new equipment and upgrades. Manage project timelines, business case development, cost tracking, and overall execution from concept to startup.

Support Product & Process Optimization

• Perform benchmarking studies and cost analysis to help guide global product/process rationalization initiatives.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Identify and support CI projects that improve quality, reduce cost, increase throughput, and enhance safety. Partner with plant teams to ensure sustainable implementation and measurable results.

Travel Opportunities

• This role includes approximately 25% travel, both domestic and international, to support implementation, training, and collaboration across manufacturing locations.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with finishing processes (e.g., grinding, milling, hard turning)
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving
• Demonstrated project management experience, particularly in capital projects and CI initiatives
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams across global operations
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 4+ years of relevant experience in machining or finishing processes
