Senior Project Manager

Fully Remote

12 Month Contract - potential for full time role

This Project Manager will be working through discovery, gathering requirements from business stakeholders/academic leaders, and developing realistic project plans. This individual will also work closely with departmental leadership to keep all pertinent parties informed of the project status. This includes, but not limited to, milestone achievements, risks, and any issues that may adversely affect project schedules. Outside of the primary project, this individual may need to support additional programs.

Responsibilities

• 6-8+ Years of experience in Project Management
• Hands on experience with projects that deal with multiple layers of compliance or regulatory requirements
• Experience in managing complex, large-scale projects with cross-functional teams across an Enterprise
• Experience with data management teams and/or familiarity with software development teams and data awareness
• Experience working/presenting with high-level stakeholders including C-Suite, VPs, and SVPs
• Experience managing all phases of assigned projects (i.e., initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing)
• Experience with reporting risks, issues and changes affecting project schedules, scope and budget, and milestone achievements
• Experience using management tools and platforms, including Smartsheet, MS Excel, Lucidchart, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint (or similar tools)
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in dynamic and fast-paced environments
• High energy individual with experience in environments that have ambiguity/change
• PMP certification required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred Skills

• Working in the educational domain, educational program design, or experience working with any Department of education regulatory groups/projects
• Experience with Salesforce

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation:

$55/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
