Responsibilities
The Unit Supervisor assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing activities and staff function during their shift. The Unit Supervisor will provide direct communication with the Nurse Director. Effectively utilizes nursing personnel, time and equipment on the unit and assists the department Director in the daily operation of the unit. Perform direct patient care, within scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.
...Education, Child Development, or related field. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Strong swimming ability (preferred, especially if family travels frequently to coastal or pool settings)....
