Jordan Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead all warehousing and distribution activities across our Monticello, IN operations. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who excels in optimizing workflows, improving accuracy, and ensuring on-time delivery for every customer. The manager will oversee inventory control, shipping and receiving, vendor relationships, and the full order cycle while coaching and developing a strong supervisory team. Job Title: Monticello Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Job Purpose: The Warehouse and Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall warehousing and logistics management. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager’s primary responsibilities will include organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of Jordan products in its Indiana locations. The manager will ensure all standard work methods are documented and executed through a direct report supervisory and team lead staff. The manager will uphold and practice safe work habits to ensure the warehousing and logistics operation is as safe and efficient as possible.

Reports To: Director, Global Supply Chain

Location: This position is located at the Corporate Headquarters in Monticello, IN

Department : Warehouse and Logistics

Classification : Full-time, Exempt Supervisor

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Plan and implement the company’s overall warehousing and logistics strategy to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
• Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Work with finance, sales, procurement, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle to deliver all products on time every time.
• Determines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out optimal position of shipment.
• Keep track of customer quality metrics, quantity of shipments to schedule the work force, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency of on time ship and delivery.
• Ensure warehouse inventory is accurate and is arranged to efficiently pick product, plan routes, and process shipments.
• Ensure any inventory or shipping problems are addressed quickly and course corrected moving forward.
• Directly supervise, coach and train warehouse and logistics supervisors.
• Ensure training is conducted from warehouse and logistics supervision to the warehouse workforce.
• Provide constructive feedback in formally documented employee performance reviews.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets through scorecard metrics reported to leadership monthly.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements throughout the supply chain process.
• Champion cross functional ways of working to promote seamless customer service and efficient processes.
• Work cross functionally to solve problems and drive process improvements.
• Ensure company complies with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Education

· BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain, or similar relevant field.

Experience

· Proven 3-5 years working experience as a Warehouse and Logistics Manager.

· Record of successful distribution and logistics management demonstrated through on time ship, on time delivery, and inventory accuracy performance achievements.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

· Demonstrated ability to lead and manage direct reports.

· Proficient in standard logistics software.

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects spanning across various department functions.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Team player.

· Computer experience transacting in ERP systems.

· Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

· Able to lead, document, train, and champion process improvement throughout the supply chain process.

· Must be team and goal oriented.

· Located in the Monticello, IN factory.

· Position is in a factory setting as well as in an office setting.

Essential physical requirements

· Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for a long period of time throughout the day.
