Adding a Corporate Tax Accountant to elite team

We are currently seeking a talented Corporate Tax Accountant to join our client's team and manage complex federal and state tax matters with precision and insight. This is a key opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant who excels in financial analysis and tax compliance.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Accountant:

• Analyze, interpret, and make strategic decisions on diverse federal tax and financial compliance data
• Deliver accurate and timely financial and tax information to management, auditors, and regulatory authorities
• Prepare and review tax workpapers for insurance entities, partnerships, and C corporations
• Produce statutory financial statement tax provisions quarterly and annually
• Interpret ASC 740 and SSAP 101 and apply them to various financial scenarios
• Prepare and coordinate filings such as state premium tax returns, municipal taxes, personal property taxes, insurance surcharges, and sales and use tax
• Conduct tax research and present recommendations based on comprehensive analysis
• Identify and execute process improvements, including technology enhancements in the tax function

Preferred Qualifications of the Corporate Tax Accountant:

• CPA Designation is preferred, or those on a CPA track
• Direct experience as a Corporate Tax Accountant within insurance or financial sectors
• Advanced knowledge of ASC 740, SSAP 101, and applicable federal and state tax regulations
• Detail-oriented and skilled at managing multiple tax filings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Location: Hybrid option to residents within commutable range of daily operations
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000
