Job Description:

  • Pay: $20.50/hr to start!
  • 6-month assignment with possibility for extension based on performance and budget
  • Shift: Full-time, 40+ hours/week. Onsite for the first 10 weeks, then remote
  • Position will mainly be responsible for handling high-volume customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Position will also be responsible for researching and resolving questions related to benefits, claims, eligibility, and services
  • Additional responsibilities include documenting interactions in company systems, supporting Utilization Management tasks (non-clinical data collection, request reviews), and communicating with internal departments, providers, and external partners

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, healthcare, claims, call center, or a medical office setting is required
  • Experience with office and CRM systems is required
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) and knowledge of medical terminology or claims coding is preferred
