Management Internship

Location :   Manhattan, NY & Venues around the Tri-State Area

Duration :   June 20th - July 6th, 2025

Compensation :  $500 Stipend

About the Internship

Are you a dedicated graphic design student or recent graduate with a passion for professional-level visual storytelling? Join J-IMPACT’s intensive two-week internship where your design expertise will be crucial in crafting polished, high-impact graphics that communicate the insights and stories of top Jewish business leaders. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting, build your professional portfolio, and collaborate with a driven creative team.

What You’ll Experience

Work with Real Clients: Design visual content that highlights executive insights and program narratives, directly impacting how J-IMPACT presents itself to a broad audience.

Advanced Design Projects:  Create comprehensive branding elements, infographics, social media campaigns, and event collateral that require strong conceptual and technical skills.

Portfolio Enhancement:  Develop a robust portfolio of professional work, including multi-platform social media assets, print-ready materials, and dynamic digital graphics.

Professional Feedback:  Receive constructive critique and mentorship from experienced designers and business leaders to refine your craft and expand your creative approach.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Visual Content Creation: Produce original, high-quality graphics, infographics, and layouts that translate complex ideas and executive insights into clear, compelling visuals.
  • Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve J-IMPACT’s brand identity across all digital and print materials, ensuring a cohesive and professional look.
  • Social Media Design: Design engaging, platform-specific assets optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels, incorporating best practices in UX/UI and visual hierarchy.
  • Event Support: Create timely visual content such as event posters, recap graphics, and presentation slides to enhance live coverage and audience engagement.
  • Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with video editors, writers, and marketing interns in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Ideal Candidates

  • Current undergraduate students or recent graduates in graphic design, visual communication, or closely related fields
  • Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent professional design software
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design skills, creativity, and an understanding of branding and digital media
  • Familiarity with social media design trends, typography, color theory, and layout principles
  • Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback while maintaining creative initiative
  • Passion for storytelling through design and an interest in business, leadership, and Jewish values
  • Full availability for the entire program (June 20-July 6)
