Job Title:

In-House General Counsel

Location:

Greater Metro Atlanta (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary:

$140,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Skills:

  • 8+ years as a practicing lawyer, ideally with a mix of in-house and law firm experience
  • Expertise in enterprise client management
  • Strong focus on negotiating and managing contracts and agreements domestically and internationally

Responsibilities:

  • Lead legal support for complex commercial contracts and agreements with enterprise clients across the U.S. and internationally
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership and cross-functional business teams to mitigate risks and advance company objectives
  • Oversee compliance with applicable laws, corporate policies, and industry regulations
  • Manage outside counsel and legal vendors when necessary
  • Lead or contribute to company-wide legal initiatives, policies, and risk management programs
  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Must-Have Skills:

  1. 8+ years of legal experience, with a combination of in-house and law firm backgrounds preferred
  2. Juris Doctor and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
  3. Must be based in Greater Metro Atlanta with the ability to work onsite 3 days per week

Nice to Have Skills:

  1. Experience in a manufacturing or related industry
  2. Familiarity with AI-enabled legal tools and contract management platforms
