Job Duties: This job requires someone who is thorough and detail-oriented. Primary duties include the cleaning of common areas and taking out trash used by employees: front office, breakrooms, restrooms and meeting rooms. Individual cleaning of offices: vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, and window sills. All hard floor surfaces must be mopped twice a week. Breakrooms and restrooms must be cleaned, taking out trash, and restocked daily. Sanitize all common surfaces weekly. The person tasked with these responsibilities must ensure that the common areas cleaned are in a neat and organized condition consistently. Cleaning and sanitizing tasks may change as needed. The person in this position must be adaptable and agreeable to change with the needs of the facility. Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed: This position requires the ability to read, write, speak and communicate well in English. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is constantly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and push or pull; climb, bend, balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
