HOSPICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Hospice Sales Representative with proven experience in the hospice or home health industry and a strong existing portfolio of referral sources. This individual will be responsible for driving census growth by developing and nurturing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other referral sources.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well-connected, and passionate about helping patients and families receive compassionate end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and grow a robust referral pipeline using existing relationships and industry contacts
• Conduct regular sales calls to hospitals, physicians, SNFs, ALFs, and community partners
• Present hospice services and capabilities in a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable manner
• Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and satisfaction
• Track and report referral trends, activities, and outcomes 
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly admission targets and other KPIs
• Attend community events, health fairs, and professional networking functions to increase visibility and referral opportunities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hospice or healthcare sales experience required
• Established portfolio of active referral sources in the hospice/home health space
• Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first attitude
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and hospice eligibility criteria
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• CRM or EMR experience (e.g., Salesforce, Homecare Homebase, MatrixCare)
• Understanding of local market dynamics and competition
